[68Ga]Ga-ELI411 is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical consisting of a novel small-molecule ligand, ELI411, labeled with the positron-emitting radioisotope Gallium-68. It is designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of solid tumors by targeting **Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP)**, which is highly expressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the tumor microenvironment of various malignancies. Developed by researchers at Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, this tracer is being evaluated for its safety, biodistribution, and diagnostic performance. It aims to provide enhanced lesion detection and characterization compared to standard [18F]FDG PET, particularly in cancers with low glucose metabolism or in anatomical regions where high physiological FDG uptake limits sensitivity.
